The Rosemary Brown Giving
Collective
“Until all of us have made it, none
of us have made it.”
The late Honourable Rosemary Brown, who was
the first Black woman elected as a member of a
provincial legislature in Canada, exemplified a
tireless commitment to advancing gender equality.
The Rosemary Brown Giving Collective honours
her, one of our Founding Mothers, and brings
together a community of like-minded monthly
donors who share her commitment to gender
justice. The support of monthly donors helps
sustain essential community-based programs and
enable long-term interventions to advance gender
justice. All year round, they help women, girls, and
gender-diverse people reach their full potential,
creating a better future for us all.
